Lydia & Reuben

I spent this morning with a charming family from Dallas. Carol and Kim and their twins, Lydia and Reuben, met me at the Arboretum for some fun time in front of the camera. Yes, this was a family session, but these kiddoes were so totally adorable! Hence the name of this post. ;) Anyway, Carol and Kim actually bid on this session at a silent auction for Rosemont Elementary in the Oak Cliff part of Dallas. I donated this session in memory of my sister Jana. It felt good to spend Father's Day morning with such a great family - and to remember why I did this in the first place. On my way home I called my dad to wish him a Happy Father's Day and tell him about this sweet family and why we were together. It made both of us cry. :) So, Carol and Kim, thanks for allowing me so share part of your day and for giving a special meaning to this session.

Rylie

Little Miss Rylie is the 17 day old daughter/granddaughter of one of my favorite families. Mom Whitney, and grandparents Colleen and Kelly make frequent appearances in my blogs. Their most recent appearance was the wedding of daughter and new son-in-law, Ashley and Andrew. Rylie's daddy is serving our country in the US Army.

Rylie is one adorable baby. She has huge eyes and loads of wild black hair. She slept like a charm until it was time for pictures, then she woke up to view the process. So, here she is:
